This website bills itself as a "one stop source of PT information and services." Broken down into seven main categories, you can find links to Hosford muscle tables, radiology, and disease management.
Physical Therapy - The Web Space
An excellent site that cleanly organizes their collection of links. PT -TWS highlights websites that have been recently added to their links. Categories of significant interest are Diseases & Injuries and Texts & Journals.
The Federation Of State Boards Of Physical Therapy
They administer the National Physical Therapy Examination, and continually improve examination methodology and relevance. They also provide educational programs for our Member Boards. They have the best demo if you're preparing for boards!

Journal Article Databases
- PEDro
  PEDro is the Physiotherapy Evidence Database. It has been developed to give physiotherapists and others rapid access to bibliographic details and abstracts of randomised controlled trials and systematic reviews in physiotherapy. Most trials on the database have been rated for quality to help you quickly discriminate between trials which are likely to be valid and interpretable and those which are not. You can search the database with PEDro's easy-to-use search engine.
- PubMed
  MEDLINE is the National Library of Medicine's premier bibliographic database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences. MEDLINE contains bibliographic citations and author abstracts from more than 4,000 biomedical journals published in the United States and 70 other countries. The file contains over 10 million citations dating back to 1966 and continuing until the present. Coverage is worldwide, but most records are from English-language sources or have English abstracts. You can mark records from citation lists and send them to the clipboard. A history feature tracks your searches and allows for easy search combinations.

- Ingenta
  Ingenta is an online periodical article delivery service that indexes nearly 18,000 English language periodicals. Over ten million articles are available for searching with five thousand citations being added daily. Articles appear in Ingneta at the same time the periodical issue is delivered to UE's library, which makes Ingenta the most up-to-date index anywhere. Coverage begins in the fall of 1988. The search features of this service are free, however, to order an article directly, you will have to create a profile and PAY for the article yourself. The system will only allow you to mark records if you have an account with them. On the plus side, you can email citations to yourself.
- Internet Public Library
  IPL is an excellent Internet resource that has organized the web to your benefit. For example, you can select Magazines and Serials from the main page and then click on Health & Medical Sciences Serials. There are links for Injuries, Alternative Medicine and Pain Treatment & Management. IPL's web searching page does an excellent job explaining how each search engine works, offering tips, and pros and cons.
- Phsyical Therapy - The Web Space This section of Physical Therapy - The Web Space attempts to present a comprehensive list of sites which are either print journals or journals which exist purely online. All journals within this list have a fairly direct connection with the field of Physical Therapy. The availability of fulltext varies from journal to journal.

- National Rehabilitation Information Center
  NARIC's mission is to get appropriate information to those with disabilities and those who work in the disability and rehabilitation communities. The public can find information on injuries, assistive devices, employment, children, etc. Researchers have access to REHABDATA (70K adbstracts of print and AV material from 1956 to present), the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (1993-present) and NARIC Knowledgebase.

  This link takes you directly to Rehabmax.com's medical library where you can find clinical commentaries, diagnostic reports and fact sheets. The mission of this site is to provide online courses in rehabilitation and continuing education.
