Love in the Library

In case you missed it, Wednesday was Valentine's Day. UEL didn't officially celebrate this holiday, though there are still chocolate kisses to be found at Circulation.

Aluka

Received an announcement today about Aluka, "an international, collaborative initiative building an online digital library of scholarly resources from and about Africa. [The] name, 'Aluka,' is derived from a Zulu word meaning 'to weave', reflecting Aluka’s mission to connect resources and scholars from around the world" (from website).

Access to Aluka is free until June 30th 2007.
