New at the University of Evansville Libraries!

New Art Exhibit

Some wonderful art from the art department was set up in the library yesterday. Featuring art from students and faculty, there's something for everyone. Be sure and take a close look at the pencil drawing of the branch and leaf as well as the ceramics and pottery in the bottom of the case. The art is located in the display case across from the reference desk.

Two new titles debut in Project Muse

Africa: The Journal of the International African Institute (Print ISSN: 0001-9720 E-ISSN: 1750-0184) Published by the Edinburgh University Press Africa is the premier journal devoted to the study of African societies and culture. Printed quarterly, each issue contains four or five major articles, extensive review essays, and substantial book reviews.

The George Herbert Journal (Print ISSN: 0161-7435 E-ISSN: 1931-1192) publishes essays and notes on the life and work of George Herbert and also features occasional special issues related to mid-17th century poetry.

Shakespeare Bulletin debuts in Project MUSE

Shakespeare Bulletin, a peer-reviewed journal of performance criticism and scholarship, provides commentary on Shakespeare and Renaissance drama through feature articles, theatre and film reviews, and book reviews. Begun in 1982 as the organ of the New York Shakespeare Society, which became the Columbia University Seminar, the journal formerly appeared bimonthly; since 1990 it has been appearing as a quarterly. In 1992, it incorporated Shakespeare on Film Newsletter, which began publication in 1976. Shakespeare Bulletin’s theatre coverage serves as a record of production in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and throughout the world. Edited by Andrew James Hartley.
