PowerPoint Printing at the Libraries

The UE Libraries will no longer support printing PowerPoint documents from its public PCs. This capability was initiated by the Libraries during Autumn semester when it was discovered that many instructors were posting PowerPoint documents to AceLink or BlackBoard. Technical problems have continued to occur with the Libraries’ complement of printers when printing PowerPoint documents. In order to minimize future downtime and repair costs with public printers, the capability of printing PowerPoint documents from the Libraries’ public PCs has been eliminated. The Libraries will continue to support printing documents associated with library research such as articles from scholarly journals and newspapers offered through its repertoire of electronic databases. PowerPoint document printing is supported in campus PC labs. Contact William F.
